God Is Coming

This is a reflection based on the advent readings for this Sunday, December 4.

God Is Coming (Isaiah 40:1-11)

Shout comfort.
Shout even louder-
tenderness- compassion.
Declare the message
God is coming!

In sovereign power
God feeds, raises, tends.
In awesome strength
God holds His lambs close to His heart.
With eternal purpose
He gently leads mothers with their young.
He who shouts comfort
can surely dance justice
sing salvation
weave healing.

Shout comfort-
God is coming.
