The marathon

There are two basic skill to master in long distance running:
1. starting
2. not stopping

Hey Pip,
You'd be proud. I did my first run last week on the treadmill at VIP. Managed to do 2.5kms before stopping.
However, on Saturday at touch, ran across the oval and stopped when out of sight... puffed. All in my head? You bet.
Any tips?

wow, after yesterday, STARTING a run that will last more than 3 hours is going to be a challenge. yeah, and the not stopping part might be hard, too! (does it count if you pass out?!) oh well, the people around will help, right?!
